The area of central North Dakota through which I've been traveling today is a constantly changing landscape.  The flat farmlands give way to the rolling hill country to the west of the City of Mandan which is part of the Bismarck metro area.

Two days ago I crossed the Missouri south of Wolf Point, Montana.  Now I crossit for a second time, much larger than the first.  Photo is taken on the outskirts of Bismarck.

I found the North Dakota Capital Building and enormousness grounds surrounding it to be quite impressive.
